60,019 fans came to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana to watch round seven of the AMA Supercross Championship.
Josh Grant, who has attended every event thus far while recovering from shoulder surgery to sign autographs and greet fans, was not at Indianapolis. Grant has begun intensely preparing for his return to racing. He is working closely with his doctors to determine the appropriate time to resume competing, and expects to start riding this week. Josh and his doctors will decide the date of his return.
Michael Byrne and Justin Brayton both transferred to the main event directly from their respective heat races without incident. In the main event Brayton gated well and was in the lead pack while Byrne was the victim of some major contact in the first turn and forced |

Hard to believe that it has been a decade since Team Husqvarna last raced an AMA National Enduro, but the venerable brand is back in the woods to celebrate both 50 years of race-winning heritage and being named 2010 "Marque Of The Year" at the AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, set for July 9-11 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio.
Team Husqvarna's woods racing specialist Glenn Kearney has even shifted his focus from GNCC competition to contest the 2010 Rekluse/AMA National Enduro Series and finished a fine 5th at Cherokee Enduro in Greensboro, Georgia this past weekend.
"I'm still getting used to this type of racing," admits Kearney, who grew up racing in the Australian outback. "The trees are a lot closer together here," he laughs. The Cherokee was Round #2 of t |

San Diegos Qualcomm Stadium was the host for round five of the AMA Supercross Championship.
The weather was yet again a major issue. Thus far in 2010, only the Phoenix, Ariz. round was without concern for rain. Unlike the previous threats, which brought the rain prior to the event, this time the rain occurred during the event, making conditions difficult although the track did allow for good racing.
Josh Grant, recovering from injury and not yet able to race, was a guest color commentator alongside SPEED and CBS regular supercross announcers Ralph Sheheen and Jeff Emig. Josh announced for both the Lites division, as well as his own Supercross division.
Both Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team riders qualified for the main event directly out of their heat races.

Despite cold and wet conditions, Team Husqvarna has started off the 2010 AMA National Enduro season hot as Glenn Kearney posted a fantastic 6th overall finish.
Kearney battled a virtual Who's Who of Eastern woods racing regulars as well as many established GNCC stars who grabbed the opportunity to mix it up with the Enduro crowd.
"This being my first race of the year and my first-ever AMA National Enduro, I am pleased with my result," says the affable Aussie. "I'd hoped for a top 5 finish, but I am pleased with 6th given the conditions."
Aboard his Ben Kearney-prepped 2010 Husqvarna TXC250, Glenn waged a battle that improved with each passing mile. Highlights included winning the 5th Special Test with an impressive 36-second margin of victory. It was a learning experienc |
